took 2 days off instead of 1 for rest day because I was in transit traveling from Phuket to Kuching and couldn’t find a space big enough to work out in - my mum and I stayed in a tiny hotel room. I also felt really REALLY tired - my time spent in Phuket was probably catching up with me, it kinda feels like it still is. I was so tempted to take today off as well because I was running around Kuching for my youngest brother’s birthday today (and taking care of almost 30 15-year-olds is quite taxing usually, but even more so since I was still fatigued from travelling and from the recent late nights I had), but made myself come round to it in the end.
speaking of Phuket, I am so heartsick for Rawai Muay Thai and the amazing people there. :( I really want to go back next year, and am seriously contemplating living there in the future. I plan to learn Thai when I go back to university, and we’ll see how things pan out from there… I’m also hoping to do a bit more muay thai or kickboxing when I get back to university, and maybe train for a fight when I come back next year.
Anyway, the PENULTIMATE fit test!
I didn’t go as all out as I wanted to because of a recovering knot in my right calf, and now a knot on the right side of my butt, but overall I am well pleased with my results, with the exceptions of suicide jumps which I stagnated at - I started a bit slow at the beginning, which was my mistake. I should have started fast and relaxed later on… will keep that in mind for the last fit test 2 weeks from now.
My low plank obliques have almost turned into floor sprints, I do them so quickly now! I’m quite pleased with my knee jacks too, can’t wait to break 100 two weeks from now.

the circuit was alright, I thought I might fare worse but overall it was okay. I felt pretty damn dead by the last circuit, especially with plank punches, but I just pushed through as much as I could. I am so soaked with sweat. T_T but also pretty satisfied! :D
