finally BACK! I was initially a bit lazy about going back into it, but it felt good to be back on track towards 60 days. I started taking a lot more protein to compensate for the amount of exercise I’ve been doing - I realized a bit too late (but better late than never) that I should have been taking about 2 to 3 scoops a day, given that I take 1 a day when I’m just doing Insanity. I was being miserly with my protein since I only had 30 scoops worth, but since it’s my last two days here I’ve been on a mission to finish it by the time I leave.
anyway, started with Day 47, and split it up into Insane Abs in the afternoon prior to muay thai training and then did the Cardio Conditioning later in the night, which was great because I had sufficient energy for both, in comparison to when I try to rush through 2 workouts in a day.
I went easy on things like push-up jacks and anything that would put too much stress on my back - I’m sure what did my back in a few weeks ago was the combination of Insanity and muay thai and my carelessness in trying to treat it myself…
Overall not a bad workout - getting the hang of things, and since I was doing muay thai while the wound healed, my fitness hasn’t dropped much, if at all. :)
Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout, since Quine found she really enjoyed it.
Anyway, off to dinner and then to pack my things!
