Today’s workout was probably one of the funnest (yes, I’m aware that’s not actually a word) sessions I’ve ever done. The Deluxe version of Insanity allows you to swap Core Cardio and Balance with Max Interval Sports Training, so that’s what I did. Not to mention I’m not overly fond of Core Cardio and Balance having did it for six days straight during my recovery week.
Anyway, MIST (oh, wow - didn’t notice what the acronym was until now) is a more fast-paced workout than most of the others, save perhaps Max Cardio Conditioning. It adopts exercises from a number of sports such as boxing, rugby, and basketball, so you end up doing exercises involving punches, sprints, and jumps (standard, really).
It did feel like a much easier session than all the others to me since I barely took breaks, but it could be because it’s continuous (like Max Cardio Conditioning) and my body seems to agree with it.
Looking forward to rest day tomorrow so I can prep for the Fit Test on Monday. Feeling a bit nervous about that one because I don’t feel like I’m going to beat my previous scores, but we’ll see! Time to DIG DEEP.
