another pretty bad day, possibly due to the start of my period. my morning training was rather shite as well.
the back injury I incurred (and self-inflicted -.- albeit accidentally) last week seemed to be getting better prior to this, but today it hurt like fuck. :( it feels rather stiff and sore - I might see the masseurs at Sue’s later today to get them to help with it. Anything push-up related during today’s workout really agonized that muscle, as did raising my arms too high. URGHHH/
On the plus side, I’m getting a better hang of the jump ropes - I focus on a spot on the wall and just keep going till time’s up. It’s times like these that I miss doing Insanity in my dad’s office, where there’s a window and greenery and sunlight to look at instead of a concrete block. But given how little I’m paying for this accommodation, I can’t really complain much. Switch kicks are still my least favourite part of the warm-up, but we’ll get there…
