Made it to the gym again this morning for squats and weights. Insanity followed soon after I got back. Workout today was much, much better than yesterday’s. More than halfway through Insanity now! I’ve noticed that I’m less flexible despite me doing extra stretching and all that, and I think it’s because I don’t really have enough dynamic stretching from kicks, etc., and those go a lot further than trying to force my legs apart more and more on my own.
Squats are also going very well, though today is probably the last time I’ll be doing them for about a month. Looking forward to getting into them more seriously though, along with some more powerlifting. I’ll keep some of the workout videos as a sort of back-up for when I need something to do, but otherwise they won’t be so much of a priority anymore.
Fit test in a few days! Not sure how this one is going to go. Hopefully muscles will have recovered fully from squats so I can beast it again. Time to bring out the DEEP HEAT!
