max recovery wasn’t half as bad as I thought it would be - maybe the extra workouts at Rawai are helping? At any rate, the only bit I found really awful were the side planks and the tricep push-ups. Everything else was doable, though I didn’t completely lift my heels off the ground as high as I could have during the plié pulses because I’m still worried over my right ankle. All those planks I had to do with Laura during Trinity term are definitely paying off :) so the planking wasn’t too insane.
in other news, I stupidly let some water into my protein and had to take more than my usual dose because my inner stingy Asian says I must never waste. -.-“
I also get a break from muay thai training on Saturday because of Eid, which is a welcome break since my body has been sore since the start of this week. Tomorrow I’ll also get a massage, which I will thoroughly enjoy. ;)
also Tuk Rawai (who owns Rawai Muay Thai) trained with me today and said I was a good boxer. kepala kembang sial hahahah! CEH WAH.
