Day 30 - Took it easy since my legs were burning from the gym the day before. Everything was going pretty well until the hip flexor burners, and then it felt like everything was on fire. Nothing too exciting otherwise!
Day 31 - Went to the gym again to get some squats in and get my body fat percentage calculated. Did one reading with the calipers (I know, ideally I need at least 3-4 readings for a good average but I just wanted a rough idea). Body fat percentage is 21.3%, which is in the fitness range, bordering on the athlete range. Thought it’d be a bit lower than that but then again wasn’t too sure what to expect! Also, I had like two bars of chocolate yesterday because it’s that time of month and I had mad cravings. Shhh.
Got back from the gym and started Insanity right away. Not too bad, considering my legs were fatigued. I’ve increased the protein intake for this week to help with recovery from weights. Also, I weigh 48 kg now. It’s strange because I experienced a drop just after starting Insanity but I’m back up again! Also odd since Insanity’s supposed to be one of those weight-loss type things. Hm. Maybe my body works in reverse.
