I’m so far from being able to beast these workouts, no thanks to the extra workouts I’ve been getting daily from the muay thai sessions. I really look forward to make daily dose of protein though - I reward myself with chocolate protein and cold milk every time I finish my Insanity workout for the day, and that’s really what’s kept me going with the program in spite of the continual soreness that I think will never go away. I went for a Thai massage yesterday. Today my right foot hurts when it points, I’m not so sure why… All the punching I’ve been doing are doing my knuckles and joints in - they’re almost all taped up now to prevent further chafing.
Anyway, back to today’s workout, which wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be. I didn’t go as full-on as I would have liked because of my soreness and tiredness from the muay thai in the morning. I was a bit cheeky and skipped my morning run today, but I promised myself I’d run the hill tomorrow since tomorrow is recovery day after all.
Some moves in Max Cardio Conditioning are a bit strange - Ski Down Hooks are really weird! But I’m glad for the more relaxed exercises that are thrown in the mix, like over the river hops and belt kicks.
Thankfully tomorrow is Max Recovery, which I think I’ll do alright with. I’ll be going with my roommates to breakfast tomorrow and trying to do the workout in the evening instead of the morning (or maybe later in the morning after breakfast? though exercise after food is always a bad idea..) - hopefully the room won’t be boiling by then. I suppose it’ll help with sweating stuff out though.
anyway, off to get some gas for my moped and dump some laundry off.
