Wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be – apart from the ski downs that is. I loathe ski downs. There isn’t an exercise I dislike more intensely than I loathe ski downs.
I’ve stopped doing the Insanity stretch at the end because I dont’ really feel like I’m stretching anything, so I end the video there and do my own stretching. This is not cheating on the workout; if anything I’m doing more!
My new shoes arrived in the mail today but I think I’m going to return them. I had them on for about 15 minutes and had cramps coming on in both my feet so I’m going to have to go on a loooong, long shoe hunt. I hate looking for sports shoes. My feet are narrow and my ankle pronate so orthopaedists are always telling me to look for shoes with more support, don’t go for flat shoes, yadda yadda yadda… But let me say one thing - flat shoes are the best for all the sports I do. Boxing, weight training, this Insanity thing. Sometimes I even feel more comfortable running in flat shoes than I do my Nikes. Maybe I should look at getting myself a pair of those fingershoe things…
No. Can’t do it. Anyway, if anyone can recommend a good pair of shoes for gym training and lots of moving around, please do!
